the development of Viennese arts and crafts between 1890 and 1938, tells the story of the search for and development of a
unique Viennese style, and sheds light on the sociopolitical aspects relevant to Viennese Modernism.
Founded in 1903, the Wiener Werkstätte defined the style of the era of Vienna around 1900 and left a lasting mark on the history
of design. The MAK not only houses its extensive archive but also the largest museum collection of objects of the Wiener Werkstätte
in the world. More >>
