In June 1969, violent police attacks and street fights directed against queer and homosexual minorities led to the creation of the annual Pride Month which is celebrated worldwide in June. To mark the occasion, the MAK is presenting posters from the LGBTQIA+ sphere to send a visible signal of acceptance, tolerance, and openness towards people of different sexual orientations and gender identities.
