The WORLD ART NOUVEAU DAY was founded in 2013 on the occasion of the anniversary of Antoni Gaudi’s and Ödön Lechner’s deaths. Throughout Europe, museums and organizations contribute to this international event with exhibitions, photo competitions, presentations, and readings.
The MAK is the Austrian project partner of the Interreg project ARTNOUVEAU2. This event is supported by funds from the European Union (ERDF, IPA II), INTERREG Danube Transnational Programme in the context of the project ARTNOUVEAU2.
