Cooperation MAK / Creative Climate Care

In the context of the new exhibition cooperation CREATIVE CLIMATE CARE, graduates of the University of Applied Arts Vienna will perform their projects at the MAK GALLERY in five consecutive pop-up exhibitions. These projects will focus on pressing issues regarding climate, environment, sustainability, and the essential contribution of design, architecture, and art towards a new mindset for active climate care.

The CityFactory is a real-time research laboratory for new fields of work in the creative industries, that focuses on discovering and visualizing future urban opportunities in Vienna. The format is a cooperation between the MAK, the Vienna Business Agency with its creative center departure, and the IDRV—Institute of Design Research Vienna.

The VIENNA BIENNALE initiated by Thun‑Hohenstein will be realized by the MAK in partnership with the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Kunsthalle Wien, Architekturzentrum Wien, and the Vienna Business Agency with its creative center departure, and with the support of the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology as a non-university research partner.
