The MAK DESIGN NITE 2021 is characterized by zero waste glamor: together with the conceptual collectives das Vulgo and cucinaAlchimia, in cooperation with the team from das kraus, the MAK invites you to an experimental culinary happening. What was previously discounted as worthless food waste is appreciated as a valuable resource, and material research is carried out with it at the culinary level. Various spirits and vinegars will be steeped or flavored from food waste. Fruit and vegetable scraps will be fermented and designed in various dishes on location. The entire tableware is sustainable and was specially designed for the evening.
