Essay

LESS EGO IS MORE FUTURE

Building a climate-modern Europe together
Tue, 1.6.2021
On the occasion of the opening of the VIENNA BIENNALE FOR CHANGE 2021, the MAK presents a new essay by Christoph Thun-Hohenstein, head of the BIENNALE and General Director of the MAK. The essay calls on us to acknowledge the climate issue as the most serious challenge in the history of humankind and, at the same time, see it as an immense opportunity to shape a better shared quality of life. We need the arts to play a key role in this formidable creative task.
